【摘要】:Thisequipmentmaybeusedtobringaboutthechangesintextureonthesurfaceofpilefloorcoveringcausedbymechanicalaction.1.1ThispracticedescribestheequipmentandoperationoftheTetrapodWalkerfortestingpilefloorcoveringswithathicknessof20mm(0.8in.)orlessbecausethickermaterialsimpedeproperoperationofthetumbler.1.2Thispracticeisapplicableforuseintestingunusedpilefloorcoveringofalltypes.Itisnotapplicableforuseintestingusedpilefloorcovering.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitheracceptableSIunitsorinotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheothers,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Incaseofrefereedecisions,theSIunitsshallprevail.Thispracticedoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispracticetoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
